Dr. Elizabeth V. Lener obtained her M.D. degree from University of
California, Los Angeles with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. She completed her Internship at the University of California, San Francisco. Continuing her education, Dr. Lener completed her Dermatology Residency at Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois.
As a native of Southern California, Dr. Lener understands the impact of daily sun exposure on the skin. She specializes in the treatment of skin, hair and nails.

 Dr. Amy H. Litchfield obtained her undergraduate degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia, where she completed her Dermatology training. She has been a Board Certified Dermatologist since 2000. Her expertise lies in diseases of the skin and skin cancer.

Dr. Litchfield lives in Orange County with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys reading, skiing, and traveling.
 Dr. Jane G. Khoury graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pacific Union College where she majored in Liberal Studies. She went on to medical school at Loma Linda University where she graduated Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her dermatology residency at Loma Linda University where she served as chief resident. Dr. Khoury also completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in La Jolla, California.

Dr. Khoury lives in Laguna Beach. She enjoys traveling, kickboxing and spending time with her family.
 Dr. Vu Nguyen was Valedictorian of his high school in Kenner, Louisiana. He completed his undergraduate degree from Tulane University under full scholarship, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Nguyen completed medical school, internship, dermatology residency, and a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr Nguyen specializes in skin cancers, Medical and Surgical Dermatology, and Dermatopathology. His Honors include the World Congress Educational Fund Task Force Scholarship, and the Albert Kligman Fellowship. He has provided lectureships at National and International meetings, and completed multiple publications pertaining to skin basic science and disease.

Personal Background:
Dr. Nguyen practiced at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, and then started the Dermatology practice at Mission Internal Medical Group in 2008. We are very pleased to have Dr Nguyen at The Dermatology Center at Ladera. When he is not at work, Dr. Nguyen spends his time with his 5 dogs, including prize-winning Newfoundlands and Polish lowland sheepdog.
 Mary Joan Greffin obtained her nursing degree from Harper College in Illinois and has over 30 years nursing experience. She has worked in all aspects of nursing with over 12 years of dermatology nursing. Mary Joan has worked closely with Dr. Lener since 2002, and joined Dr. Lener at The Dermatology Center at Ladera when it was opened in the Spring of 2005.
Mary Joan assists the Dermatologists by performing many of the medical and cosmetic procedures. Mary Joan is extremely experienced in the operation of the Lasers and the Light Treatment equipment, performs Laser hair removal, and uses a wide variety of injectable and peel treatments. She can also help patients understand how to meet their personal goals for their skin rejuvenation by recommending the most appropriate and effective cosmeceutical products. Beautiful healthy skin is Mary Joan’s goal for all her patients.
